• How teens can manage their school work and organize their life using a digital tool called Notion.

There are so many amazing experiments to try, and lots of intriguing techniques to share with our kids. And with proper preparation, we can lay out the lesson specifics, and prepare plenty of time for it all.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss:

• Common required subjects.
• Optional elective opportunities.
• What to teach, and in what order.
• Ways to simplify lesson planning.
• Which lesson types would be best for your kids.
• How to align lesson plans with your original homeschool vision.

We know from current research that children of all ages who read for pleasure perform better in all subjects. Reading for pleasure also builds empathy, improves wellbeing and has a dramatic impact on life outcomes. This session will explore practical tips on how to help your child to foster a love of reading. This 45 minute session is free to all parents who have children at primary school!

The goal of this conference was really to strip things down to the basics, get rid of the overwhelm, give really great actionable conversations, and help everyone enjoy the adventure of homeschooling.
